Two soldiers martyred, as many terrorists killed in Lakki Marwat

Two soldiers embraced martyrdom and as many terrorists were killed in a gun battle in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, the military said. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists, in which army troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, resulting in the successful neutralisation of two terrorists, Aftab alias Malang and Masood Shah. PHOTO: ISPR The brave soldiers involved in the operation, Sepoy Muhammad Afzal (29 years old, resident of district Bhimber, Azad Kashmir) and Sepoy Ibrar Hussain (27 years old, resident of district Mansehra), fought gallantly but tragically embraced Shahadat during the intense exchange of fire, the ISPR said. PHOTO: ISPR The military’s media wing said sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area. “Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” it maintained.
